World AIDS Day Programmes
Bike Rally, Human Chain, Mobile Exhibition @ New Bus Stand, Cultural programme & Prize distribution
Bike Rally around the Town Starts from Our Collectorate went through main areas of the city.
Human Chain stands for 1 hr from Anna Park to Little Flower Higher Secondary School. More than 200 students participated in the human chain
Mobile exhibition was arranged in the new bus stand premises. Stalls on STI, CCC and TB was exhibited by our DTMC Trust. stalls on prevention and general awareness was exhibited by ART centre, SNP+, PDI and other NGOs. IEC distributed to all passengers.
Cultural events starts @ 10.00 am @ Thongum Poonga. Various competitions held based on HIV awareness. Interesting Debate on Prevention & Care and support took place.
After that Collector Preside over the AIDS Day function, gives messages on OVC and Treatment facilities in our State. Distributed prizes for winners and volunteers.
